Dwelling Fire on Gibson Island
May 21, 2009 - At approximately 2300 hours units were alerted for a dwelling fire on Purdy Point Road on Gibson Island. The fire started on the deck outside the house. As units arrived, the fire was extending to the house. The nearest hydrant was about 1.5 miles from the house, so water supply was limited until the fire boat arrived. Squad 12 arrived on location and performed initial search, then assisted with fire attack. The crew also assisted with overhaul. Squad 12 returned to service at about 0130.



Dwelling Fire in 20's Area
May 1, 2009 - At approximately 2230 hours units were alerted to Box 20-23 for the dwelling fire located at Tebbston Road in Lake Shore. Units responded were E202, E121, E181, Qnt 30, Tw11, Qnt 23, Squad 13, E101 and E132 as tankers, Medic 30 and BC 2.

While units were en route Fire Alarm advised they had received several calls about the incident. E202 arrived on the scene and reported smoke showing on side "B" of the dwelling. Crew of E202 began to make an interior attack of the fire. E121 arrived 3rd on the scene quickly went to work splitting the crew up with two entering the dwelling pulling walls and the ceilings while the other two firefighters were assigned as the two out backup.

Crews worked aggressively and were able to place the fire under control in approximately 15 minutes. Crew of E121 remained on the scene for approximately 90 minutes before returning in service.



Two Alarm Fire in 30's Area
April 28, 2009 - At approximately 4:30 hours units were dispatched to Box 30-14 for the dwelling fire located at 8010 Catherine Avenue in Green Haven. Units responded were Qnt 30, E101, E121, E202, E181, Qnt 23, Tk 33, Tw 26, Squad 11, Medic 30, BC 2 and Training Division Chief 1. While units were en route Fire Alarm advised they were received several calls about the incident.

Squad 11 arrived on the scene first and reported heavy smoke showing. Training Division Chief 1 arrived on the scene and requested a 2nd alarm assignment to respond. Crew of E121 was assigned as "Fire Attack" along with the crew of Squad 11. Crew of E121 took in a second line to attack the fire aggressively.

Crew of E181 and Tk 33 were assigned to open up the roof while the crew of Qnt 23 was requested to take a 3rd attack line into the dwelling. Crews worked aggressively to attack the fire under the command of Battalion Chief Matt Tobia and were able to place the fire under control in approximately 30 minutes. Second Alarm companies consisted of E341, E131, E171, E311, Tw 40 and Pm18.



Dwelling Fire 11-07
April 23, 2009 - Approx. 1920 hours, about 10 minutes after clearing the small fire in company 18s area Squad 12 along with other units were dispatched to 416 Greenland Beach Rd (11-7) for a vacant house on fire with multiple calls being received. Chief 34 arrived on scene with heavy smoke showing and assuming command. Squad 12 arrived with 6 people and immediately went to work with half the crew opening up inside for E112 (fire attack) and the other half venting the outside. Making no headway on the fire crews repositioned to attack the rear of the dwelling. The fire was placed under control at 1846hrs and squad 12 returned to service at 2028hrs.



Dwelling Fire 18-11
April 23, 2009 - At 1650hrs Squad 12 was dispatched to 97 Phelps ave (18-11) for a rear porch on fire. E331 arrived on scene with smoke showing from the rear. Crews made quick work of the fire and Squad12 was assigned to check the interior for any extension. With no extension command held 2 and 1, Squad12 returned to service at 1711 hrs.

April 22 2009 - At approximately 1500 hours Fire Alarm alerted unit to Box 12-05 for the trailer fire located at 101 Ritchie Highway. Units responded were E121, E123, E101, Qnt 30, Qnt 23, Pm 12 and BC 2. E121 arrived on location with a house trailer approximately 80' long with fire showing. Crew from E121 laid in with its 5" supply line from Ritchie Highway down the dirt road to the location of the fire.

E123 was enroute to station 5 on a transfer when they requested to be added to the Box assignment. E123 arrived on the scene and completed a split lay from E121's supply line up Ritchie Highway and across to the south bound side to tie into a hydrant dropping approximately 1800 feet of supply line.

Crews from E121, E123, E101 began to attack the fire however their where several exposure issues that had to be delt with first. Crews remained on the scene for several hours before returning to service.



First Due Dwelling Fire 12-02
April 17, 2009 - At approx 2030 hours, 198 Bolden Court Dwelling fire units on the initial alarm E121, E101, E203, QNT30, QNT23, SQ23, PM12, BC2

Fire alarm receiving numerous calls...in the area of 648 and Laguna Circle. Correct location is going to be 198 Bolden Court. E121 AOL with a single family dwelling approx. 35% involved with heavy fire showing. Cap. 12 command, E121 Field. QNT30 on the plug. BC2 assuming command and field. Cap. 12 assigned fire attack. All clear at this time. Lt. 23 advising no exposure issues at this time. Command calling an evacuation at this time, a propane tank is venting on side D.Command requesting a PAR at this time. Two cars are involved in the front of the dwelling at this time. Dwelling is 100% involved at this time.

Second Alarm units E123, E171, E132, QNT13, SQ11, TW11, PM10, BC3, SCMD, AC13, CW1, PIO, SAF, EMS1. LT.10 being assigned fire attack group. AC13 assuming logistics. BC3 advising command exposures look good. BC3 now assuming safety officer. Fire attack advising they're making good progress on the dwelling and the two cars in the front...appears there were two 500 gallon propane tanks that vented. Fire should be knocked in the next 20 minutes. PM10 assigned rehab. LT. SQ32 being advised to check the status of a dog in the pen of the rear exposure dwelling. Units being advised there is an in-gound pool in the C/D corner...use caution



MVC Rt 2 12-05
April 17, 2009 - At 4:45 p.m., county firefighters responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Ritchie Highway and Hamburg Drive. They found a 35-year-old woman pinned in a vehicle, and it took firefighters 20 minutes to remove her, Division Chief Michael Cox said. She was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with life-threatening injuries.

Units O/L, Sq12,Qnt30,BC 2,EMS 1, and Paramedic's 12 & 30.



Dwelling Fire 10-17
April 13, 2009 - At approximately 2230 hours Fire Alarm alerted E101 to respond for the fire alarm sounding at White Rocks Yachting Club located in the 1400 block of Colony Rd in Pasadena. While E101 was en route, Fire Alarm received additional information of a building fire at the same location. The incident was quickly up graded to a Commercial Box assignment. Units responded were E101, E131, E121, E181, Qnt 30, Tw11, Squad 23, E132, E192, E202 as tankers and BC 2. E101 arrived on the scene with fire showing on the second floor of a two story wood frame building. E101 quickly informed this was going to be a defensive operation. E131 arrived on the scene and began to setup for drafting operation for water supply. Chief 13 assumed "Command" of the incident assigning Qnt 30 to setup on side "C" of the building and prepare for ladder pipe operations. During the beginning stages of attacking the fire, Fire Alarm received a call from the alarm company of the business informing that an occupant lives in the building in one of the basement apartments. The defensive operation quickly turn into an interior attack of the fire. The crews began to attack the fire while the crew of E131 conducted a primary search of the basement apartments. The crew of E121 was initially assigned to RIT, however, as the conditions of the building deteriorated, the crew of E121 began to attack the fire during the exterior defensive operations. Crew of E121 worked on the incident for several hours before returning in-service.

April 3, 2009 - At 1228 hours Fire Alarm alerted units to Box 18-11 for the apartment fire located in Americania Circle in Glen Burnie. Units responded were E181, E331, E261, E121, Tk33, Tw26 and BC 2 to the scene. While units were en-route, Fire Alarm advised they had received several calls about the incident. E181 while responding to the scene advised they could see a large column of smoke in the area. E121 arrived on the scene and reported they had a working fire with heavy smoke showing. E181 quickly arrived on the scene along with BC 2 who took "Command" of the incident. The crew of E181 pulled a 300' attack line and began to attack the fire. The crew of E121 completed the 360 of the building advised command the had fire showing on the first floor with extension to the second floor. BC 2 assigned the crew of E121 to pull a second line with E261 and also to attack the fire. BC 2 had the crew from Tower 26 conduct a search of the apartment building for possible trapped victims and the crew from Truck 33 was assigned to ventilate the building. Command then quickly requested a second alarm assignment to respond. The first alarm companies work extremely hard during the incident which allowed the fire to be contained to one apartment with some extension to the second floor apartment. The fire was placed under control in approximately 30 minutes. The crew of E121 worked on the scene for several hours before being placed in-service.



One Trapped on Rt. 648
March 27, 2009 - At 0310 hrs SQ12 and PM12 were dispatched to 326 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd in the 12-8 box for a vehicle into the pole. While en route fire alarm upgraded the call to a rescue with county police on scene confirming one trapped. SQ12 arrived on the scene and found one vehicle into a utility pole and a subject trapped under the dash. The crew from sq12 begun to stabilize the vehicle and started extrication. After the squad crew popped the door and lifted the dash the patient was extricated. The extrication took approx. 15 mins and PM12 transported the patient pri.1 to shock trauma. The Squad returned to service at 0356 hrs.

March 23, 2009 - At 2314 hours Fire Alarm alerted units to Box 26-06 for the dwelling fire located at 331 Wende Way in Glen Burnie. Units responded were E261, E331, E181, Tw 26, Tk 33, Squad 11 and BC 1. E121 had just cleared a medical call in their first due area and requested to run the box assignment. Crew of E261 arrived on the scene first and reported fire show in the attic and fire thru the roof on side "C" of the dwelling. Crew of E121 arrived on the scene and was given the assignment from "Command" to assist E261 with fire attack and pull down the ceiling and walls to get to the fire in the attic. Crews of E261, E121 and Tw 26 aggressively attacked the fire which was placed under control in about 30 minutes.

Crew of E121 remained on the scene for approximately 2 hours before returning in service.



2nd Alarm Brush Fire 26-13

March 23, 2009 - At 1319 hours units in the first battalion were alerted for the brush fire in the area of 600 Patriot Lane. E261 arrived on the scene and after accessing the situation requested a full Brush Box assignment to respond. BC 1 had "Command" of the incident and at 1329 hours requested a second alarm assignment to respond and assist with containing the fire. E121 and Brush 12 responded on the second alarm. Crews worked on the incident for several hours before returning in service.



Dwelling Fire 10-02
March 19, 2009 - At 0507 hours Fire Alarm alerted units to Box 10-02 for the dwelling fire located at 3459 Brook Haven Road in Pasadena. Units responded were Quint 30, E121, E202, Quint 13, Tw11 and BC 2. While units were en-route, E101 just cleared a prior call and was added to the box assignment. E121 arrived on the scene first and reported nothing evident and investigating. Upon further investigation the crew of E121 located a small fire in a flower bed next to the front porch area. Crew of E121 stretched out the from bumper line and began to extinguish the fire. Crew of Quint 30 arrived and began to open up the front porch so the fire could be extinguished from under the porch. The incident was scaled back holding E121, Qnt 30 and E101. The fire did not extend into the dwelling. Crews returned to service at 0545 hours.



MVC 12-09
March 18, 2009 - At 0703 hours Fire Alarm alerted the crews of Squad 12 and PM 12 to respond to Box 12-09 for the MVA located at 517 Ritchie hwy near the Royal Farm Store. Crew of Squad 12 arrived with two vehicles involved in the accident. Further investigation determined one of the drivers was pinned inside their vehicle. Crew of Squad 12 stabilized the vehicle with step-chocks and wedges. Crew of Squad 12 the removed the drivers door and assisted PM 12 removing the patient. One additional medic unit was requested to respond to the scene for a second patient. Both PM 12 and Medic 30 transported both patients to Anne Arundel Medical Center.

March 14, 2009 - AT 2258 hours Fire Alarm alerted units to Box 32-09 for the dwelling fire located at 713 Maple Road East in Linthicum. Units responded were E321, E331, E311, Tk 31, Tk 33, Squad 12, PM 32 and BC 1. While enroute Fire Alarm received information the County Police were on the scene and have pulled out a possible victim. E331 arrived on the scene with heavy smoke showing. Crews of E331 and E321 advanced attack lines and began hitting the fire. Crews of Tk 31 and Tk 33 were given the assignment to vent the dwelling. Crew of E311 was given the assignment of RIT. Crew of Squad 12 arrived and was given the assignment to set up lights for the crews inside and to pull walls and ceilings checking for extension. Crew of Squad 12 worked on the incident for aproximately one hour and 20 minutes before returning in service.



First Due Dwelling Fire 12-13
March 14, 2009 - At 1819 hours Fire Alarm alerted units to Box 12-13 for the attic fire located at 712 Cottonwood Drive. Units responded were E121, E122, E231, Qnt 23, Qnt 30, Squad 12, PM 12 and BC 2. Squad 12 arrived on the scene and reported nothing evident with Capt 12 assuming Command. Crew of E121 arrived a laid out 300' of 5" supply line to the scene with E122 covering the hydrant. Crew of Squad 12 entered the dwelling encounted some smoke conditions and determined their was an electrical fire in a ceiling fan that extended into the attic area burning the insulation and rafters. At this time a 200' attack line was pulled from E121 and advanced to the garage of the dwelling. BC 2 arrived and took Command with Capt 12 assuming investigation. Crew of Qnt 23 assisted the crews of 12 in pulling the ceiling and setting up fans for smoke removal. Crews encounted a small fire and were able to contain it to the hallway and bathroom.
Crews from 12 and 23 worked on the incident for approximately 90 minutes before returning in service.

March 14, 2009 - The crews of E121 and Squad 12 were about to get some lunch from a local restaurant. While standing in line getting ready to order some food, Fire Alarm alerted us to standby for the call in 20's area. Fire Alarm dispatched units to Box 20-13 @ 1236 hours for the shed fire located at 1226 Overview Ct. Units dispatched were E202, Qnt 30, E121, E231, Tw11, Qnt 23, Squad 12, E101 & E132 as Tankers, PM 10, BC 2, C13 and C20. While units were en route, Fire Alarm gave updated information that they received additional calls that the dwelling may now be involved also. E202 arrived on the scene first and laid a 5" supply line from Overview drive and Overview Ct to the address. Lt 20 advised that he had a shed 100% involved with extension into the woods. Lt 20 further advised the dwelling was not involved at the present time. Crew of E121 arrived and was given the assignment to supply E202 with water and to prepare to possibly draft from E101 folding tank. After the crew of E202 put a knock on the fire, the incident was scaled back holding E202, Qnt30, E121 and E101. Crew of E121 worked on the scene for approximately 30 minutes before returning in service.



Busy Days for Company 12
- Members of EHVFC have been very busy over the last several days. During the period of March 6th to March 9th units from 12 responded to 60 calls. On March 6th units responded to 20 calls, March 7th, 15 calls with one working fire and one serious MVA, March 8th, 11 calls and on March 9th, 14 calls.



Dwelling fire box 10-04
March 10, 2009 - At 1416 hours units were alerted to Box 10-04 for the dwelling fire located in the area of Donna Drive @ Sharon Drive. Units responded were E101, E202, E121, Qnt 30, Qnt 13, Squad 13, Squad 11 and BC 2. E202 arrived on the scene with heavy fire showing of a 2 story dwelling 100% involved. Crews faced extreme access issues to the scene, exposure issues and 55 gallon drums exploding. Crew of E121 arrived on the scene assisted with fire attack with the crew of E101. Crew of E121 worked on the incident for approximately 3 hours.



MVC on Rt. 100E and Rt. 2
March 07, 2009 - While the crew of Squad 12 was working on the apartment fire in 26's area, members filled the station and placed E121 in service for calls. At approximately 1625 hours units were alerted to Box 18-82 for the MVA located at Rt 100 eastbound at Rt 2 north. Units responded were E121, Baltimore City Tk 6 who was filling the quarters of E261, and Paramedic 10. Crew of E121 arrived on the scene with a single vehicle accident with three seriously injuried patients. Two additional paramedic units were requested to respond bring PM 33 and PM 31. All three patient were transported to the area hospital.



3-Alarm Box 26-07

March 07, 2009 - At 1527 hours units were alerted to Box 26-07 for the apartment fire located at 324 Highland Dr in Glen Burnie. Units responded were E261, E331, E41, Tw 26, Tk 33, Squad 12, PM 26, and BC 1. E261 arrived on the scene with heavy fire showing of a 3 story garden apartment building. The officer on E261 immediately requested a 2nd Alarm assignment.

2nd Alarm Companies were - E181, E321, E311, ME21, Tw11, Tk 31, BWI Qnt43, Sq13, and BC 2. Unit Ops 3 was in the general area ran the incident and assumed "Command" of the incident. Ops 3 quickly requested a 3rd Alarm assignment.

3rd Alarm Companies were - E291, E51, E281, E202 and Sq34 to the scene. The crew of Squad 12 was given the assignment to do forceable entry into several apartments and search for possible trapped victims. Short after begining the assignment, Command requested all units to evacuate the fire building and attack the fire defensively. Crew of Squad 12 then assisted with attacking the fire. Units worked on the scene for several hours before returning to service.



Box 10-11 Shed Fire

February 28, 2009 - At 1300 hours units were alerted to Box 10-11 for the shed fire located in the 8000 block of Bellhaven Avenue in Pasadena. Units responded were E101, E202, E132, Qnt 30, Tw11, Squad 12 and BC 2. E101 arrived on the scene with fire showing. Crew from E101 and E132 were assigned fire attack. Crew of Squad 12 was assigned to assist with overhaul and fill SCBA bottles. Crew of Squad 12 worked on the scene for approximately 90 minutes before returning to service.



First Due Dwelling fire
February 16, 2009 - At 0839 Fire Alarm alerted units for Box 12-21 for the dwelling fire located in the 500 block of Point field Rd. Units responding E121, E51, E331, Qnt23m Tk26, Tk33, Sq23, Pm5, & BC2. Pm5 arrived first and reported smoke showing from the rear of the dwelling. Crews frmo E121 and E5 were assigned Fire Attack. The crews lcated the fire on the rear deck and made a quick knock of the fire keeping it from extending into the dwelling. Crews remiained on scene for approximately one hour.



MVC on Rt. 100 and Rt. 10
February 15, 2009 - 1056 hours units alerted for an 18-80 Rescue Box, MVC with entrapment located at Rt. 100W and Rt. 10N split. Units responding were E181, Qnt30, Sq12, Pm18, Pm12, EMS1 and BC2. BC2 arrived and reported single vehicle with roll over into the medium and one confrimed entrapment. Crew from Sq12 were assigned as the Rescue group with the crew from Qnt30. After a few minutes, the patient was removed and transported by Pm18 to Shock Trauma, Pm12 transported additional patients to BWMC.

MVC box 12-16
February 11, 2009 - At 1722 hours Fire Alarm alerted units to Box 12-16 for the MVA located at Governors Stone Pkwy @ Benfield Rd. Units responded were E121, Squad 12, Pm 12, A339 and Car 12.

E121 arrived on the scene first reported a three vehicle accident with several patients. Crews of E121 and Squad 12 assisted with patient care and securing the vehicles. Pm 12 transported on patient to BWMC as well as A339 transporting one patient to BWMC..



Attic Fire in 30's Area
February 7, 2009 - At approximately 1215 hours units were alerted for a dwelling fire located on Lincoln Drive, Box 30-12. Units that responded were Qnt30, E181, E101, Tw11, Qnt13, Sq12, BC2 & Mu30. Qnt30 arrived on location with smoke showing. Captain Qnt30 assumed "Lincoln Dr Command" having the crew from E181 be fire attack along with Tw11 to pull the ceilings down. The crew from Sq12 with 5 personnel was assigned to ladder the dwelling and open up the roof vent. Crews from E181 and Tw11 put a quick knock on the fire and the crew from Sq12 remained on the scene for approximately 1 hour before returning to service.



E121 on First Due House Fire
February 06, 2009 - As D-Shift was finishing up their morning duties, a first due box assignment was struck for a kitchen fire in the 600 block of Cypress Ln (12-9). E121 arrived with heavy smoke showing on the first floor from a 2 1/2 story single family dwelling with an attached garage on the left side and an attached living room/rear kitchen on the right side. The engine crew stretched an 1 3/4" attack line and advanced through the front door and found fire in the front living room and heavy fire in the kitchen area. Crews knock down the fire, opened up, and continued to the second floor to check for more fire extension, where fire was found in the walls directly above the kitchen. Units remained for extensive overhaul. E121 operated for 2 hours before returning to service.



2 Alarm fire in 33's Area Superbowl Sunday
February 1, 2009 - Members from EHVFC were sitting down to dinner and getting ready for the Superbowl. They watched the National anthem and the coin toss. This would be all the only portion of Superbowl XVIII they would be ble to see. At approximately 1830 hours units were dispatched to Box 33-07, 7100 block of Furnace Branch Rd. for a building fire.

First Alarm companies responding were E331, E181, E341, Tk33, Tk31, Sq34, BC1 and C34. BC1 arrived on the scene first and reported fire showing on the first floor of the building. Due to the size of the building and the amount of fire, BC1 quickly requested a second alarm. second alarm companies were E261, E121, BWI-E43, E321, E131, Qnt30, Sq11, BC2, C11, and BWI-PM43.

E121 responded with 5 personnel and once on the scene was given the assignment to enter the buildings first floor under heavy smoke conditions, pull ceilings and walls to check for extension and attack hot spots. The pump operator was given an assignment to locate a secondary hydrant, layout a supply line to prepare for possible ladder pipe operations. The crew of E121 worked on scene for approximately 4 hours before being placed back in service.



First Due MVC Sends 4 to Shock Trauma
January 31, 2009 - At 12:30 hours, 121 was dispatched to an MVC at Rt. 648 and Magothy Bridge Rd. in the 12-06 box area. E121 arrived to find a head on collision. E121 and PM12 setup patient care and triage. The vehicles involved were a min0van and a four-door passenger car The occupants of the mini-van refused treatment. The car with five passengers, four of which were transported to Shock Trauma, one by helicopter and three by ground transportation. The fifth passenger was transported to a local hoospital. All units cleared at 1330 hours.



Shed Fire in 30's Area
January 28, 2009 - Approximately 0445 hours units were dispatched to Box 30-14 for a large shed fire located at Catherine and Duvall Highway. Units responded were Qnt30, E101, E121, Qnt13, Tw11, sq23 and BC2. Qnt30 arrived on the scene with a large shed 100 involved in the rear of a vacant dwelling. Crew from E121 was given the assignment of fire attack with Qnt30. E121 remained on the scene for approximately 2 hours before going in service.



Fire in 30's Area
January 26, 2009 - At 13:36 hours, after picking up from a first due box, Fire Alarm dispatched units for a house fire in the 100 block of Mountain Road (30-17). E121 advised Fire Alarm of their location and got added to the box. E121 arrived first with smoke showing from a 1 story dwelling. E121 ran a 200' crosslay to the rear bedroom where the crew found a working fire involving the contents of the room. As linemen from E121 extinguished the fire the officer from E121 began to horizontally vent the house as QNT30 set up PPV. All units made quick work of the fire. Command held E121 and QNT30 to assist FIB.



E121 first arriving on 23-1 box
January 26, 2009 - At 10:21 hours, Fire Alarm dispatched units to the 800 block of Ritchie Hwy for a building fire. E121 arrived on scene with a 1 story restaurant with nothing showing and stretched a 200' crosslay. Upon further investigation E121 found a small fire behind a rotisserie oven and extinguished it with a dry chemical extinguisher. QNT23 laddered the roof and SQ23 set up PPV.



Millersville home destroyed in blaze
gallery/incidents/2009/090126fire_01.jpg January 25, 2009 - E121 and E122 were called to the 400 block of Saddleback Court at 7AM and found a two-story home fully involved. It took 36 fire fighters 25 minutes to get the flames under control.


2nd Alarm Fire in 28's Area
January 16, 2009 - At approximately 2030 hours units were dispatched to Box 28-23 for the dwelling fire located in the 400 block of Ski Lane. Units responded were E283, E51, E261, E62, Tw26 and BC1. E283 arrived on location with fire showing in the rear of the dwelling. BC1 arrived on the scene and requested a 2nd alarm assignment. Crews from EHVFC responded on E122 with six personnel. The crew was put to work by command as fire attack on the first floor of the dwelling. The crew of E122 remained on scene for approximately 4 hours before returning to service.



Basement Fire
December 26, 2008 - At 13:02 Squad 12 was dispatched for a basement fire located in the 30-13 box. MU13 (from station 30) arrived on location to find heavy smoke coming from side C. Squad 12 was assigned ventilation with Tower 26. Units returned to service at 15:25.



Dwelling Fire
December 26, 2008 - At 7:14 AM Squad 12 was dispatched for a dwelling fire in the 4-13 box. Engine and Tower 26 arrived on location to find smoke coming from the eves. Squad 12 was assigned RIT and helped rack hose. Units returned to service at 9:15 AM.



Rollover
December 26, 2008 - At 1:11 AM Squad 12 was dispatched for an MVC, truck reported to be overturned in the 12-17 box. Squad 12 and Paramedic 12 arrived on location to find the driver had left the scene of the accident. The driver was later located by AAPD and transported by PM12.



Christmas Fire
December 25, 2008 - At 20:27 Squad 12 was dispatched for a dwelling fire at 322 Maryland Ave. in the 33-09 box. 331 arrived on location with smoke showing and initiated fire attack. Squad 12 was tasked with RIT and assisted overhaul. Units cleared at 21:52.



First Due MVC Sends 2 to Shock Trauma
December 23, 2008 - At 14:14 hours, Fire Alarm dispatched E122 and PM26 for an MVC at Rt. 2 and East West Blvd. E122 arrived to find a 4 car MVC with one on it side. The crew from E122 started patient assessment and requested additional transport units. The crew from E122 along with the medical units packaged the patients. PM26 and M6 each transported one patient to Shock Trauma and M21 transported one to St. Agnes. E122 returned to service at 15:03.



Dwelling Fire
September 24, 2008 - E122 and Chief 12 responded to the 300 block of Jumpers Hole Road for a dwelling fire. E122 arrived on location with fire through the roof and initiated fire attack.



MVC
September 12, 2008 - SQ12, PM12, and Chief 12 responded to Rt 2 South for an MVC. Units arrived on location to find three vehicles involved. Vehicles were located on both North and South bound lanes. Three patients were transported to the hospital for minor injuries.



Dwelling Fire
September 4, 2008 - E121 and Chief 12 responded to a dwelling fire in Lake Shore. Units arrived to discover a dwelling completely involved.



MVC
September 4, 2008 - Squad 12, Paramedic 12, and Chief 12 responded to Rt 2 South and Chestnut for a two vehicle MVC. Two patients were transported for minor injuries.



MVC
September 2, 2008 - At 1730 hours Squad 12 responded to Magothy Bridge Road and Edwin Raynor Blvd for an MVC. One patient transported to Shock Trauma priority 1 with a closed head injury.
