Live In Program

We are currently recruiting for our live in program.

EHVFC has a long history of live in members at our firehouse. Until recently we have not had an official live in program, but this new program is being put in place to plan for our future.

THE PROGRAM

We are currently recruiting for immediate live in’s and beyond. Firefighter I & EMT are required at time of move-in for Fire/EMS live-ins, and EMT’s of all levels for EMS only live-ins. Prior experience is desired. See requirements in Live in document.

If you are a student pursuing a higher education or have full time employment, here’s your chance to become part of a fast-paced emergency services environment, the EHVFC live in program, though not formalized until recently, has produced many successful firefighters and EMT’s.

We are located in Anne Arundel County MD. Centrally located in the state we have many educational facilities and employment opportunities in our area. The station itself is part of a career/volunteer combination department with a large volume and variety of calls.

Live-In alumni have gone on to careers throughout America’s fire service; many are still in the area and provide resources for training and career advancement. Many former live-ins are also among today’s EHVFC leadership.
